2016 Registered Vehicle Owner Instructions

Thank you SO much for registering your vehicle for the 3rd Annual Benedict Castle Concours on April 3, 2016 benefiting Teen Challenge. We would like to let you know how check in is going to go this year.

We are asking that all of you that can please place your cars at the Castle on Saturday. Our facility is not really “trailer friendly” so please try to trailer them in on Saturday. Trailers will only be allowed on the property Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday morning from 5:30 am to 6:30 am. We have trailer parking off site (see map) and please try to drive the vehicle in if it is able.

Saturday you will be given your Check in Packet and goodie bag upon arrival at our gate on Chicago Ave. Attached to the front of the big packet will be a neon card with the LOT your vehicle is assigned to for the event. You will show this bright neon card to the parking crew who will direct you to the appropriate lot.

You can unload your trailers on Chicago Ave. if possible then store it overnight in the Presbyterian Church parking lot as shown on the map. (A little over a mile away) Shuttles will bring you back.

  • There will be security all night for trailers
  • There will be security all night on the castle grounds with the gates locked for all vehicles parked there.
  • The sprinklers will be turned off for 3 days before the show
  • You can cover your car if you wish

Also you will be able to attend the Saturday Evening Gala Honoring Bruce Meyer in the Castle Courtyard. Tickets are still available and may be purchased online.


You can line up in the bike lane on Chicago Ave. The first cars will be admitted at 7 am. Any trailer must be off the grounds and parked by 6:30 am. A runner will ask you at the gate the last name of the registrant, and the driver will then be given that specific vehicle’s Check In Packet and Goodie Bag. Each car/ motorcycle will have it’s own packet. Attached to the front of the big packet will be a neon card with the LOT your vehicle is assigned to for the event. Your car will then be admitted onto the grounds and the parking crew will direct you to your specific lot. Please hold up the neon sign with your lot in a visible spot so the parking crew can direct you.

All trailers and transporters must be moved from the bike lane once unloaded on Chicago and parked at the Presbyterian Church by 6:30 am. Shuttles will bring you back to the castle.

  • Petersen VIP Pavilion Badges and lanyards if purchased in advance
  • Vouchers for T-Shirts if purchased

Included: 1 Goodie bag for each vehicle registered

Hats, T-shirts, High Tea Tickets, Petersen VIP Pavilion tickets and Castle Tour tickets can be purchased the day of the event as well at the Gift Shop.
